Anne Gibbons

Outreach Programs Coordinator

Anne Gibbons is Outreach Programs Coordinator at the Virginia Center for Inclusive Communities (VCIC), an organization that works with schools, businesses, and communities to achieve success through inclusion.  In her role, she leads VCIC’s community programs and partnerships across Virginia, serving as a link between VCIC and partners through designing, facilitating, and convening diversity and inclusion programs.

Anne joined VCIC after many years of service to Lynchburg College, now the University of Lynchburg.  She is a 1996 recipient of VCIC’s Humanitarian Award, and she has facilitated VCIC’s signature high school and college programs over the years.   Anne has a special passion for the intersection of spirituality and social justice.  She received her undergraduate degree in Social Work from Augustana College and has a Masters of Divinity from Catholic Theological Union in Chicago.
