VOLUNTEER WITH VCIC

The Virginia Center for Inclusive Communities could not reach schools, businesses, and communities across Virginia without the dedicated support of volunteers. At VCIC, volunteers help deliver youth and adult programs, convene special events and raise funds, and provide administrative support in our office.

Current Volunteer Opportunities:

Volunteer at the 2025 Richmond Diversity Dialogue Day

Diversity Dialogue Day (DDD) is a one-day high school forum that brings together students from public and private schools in a particular geographic area in Virginia. The Diversity Dialogue Day curriculum takes participants through a process of awareness-to-action. At the conclusion of the Diversity Dialogue Day, participants develop strategies for increasing awareness and promoting inclusion within their schools. The 2025 Richmond DDD will take place on Tuesday, January 28, 2025 from 7:30 AM – 2:00 PM at the University of Richmond.  Facilitators are also required to attend a mandatory Facilitator Training on Tuesday, January 21, 2025 from 6:00-8:30 PM
